The First Snowfall

We began our Thanskgiving week with the first snowfall! I guess this is the most snow Missoula has seen at one time in quite a few years. Some of the surrounding communities like Hamilton had 18 inches. We saw 10-12 inches in town!

We Built This City

Sing the tune of the 80's song..."We built this city. We built this city on rock n roll." Ethan and I made paperbag buildings. You can't see from this angle, but the fronts of the buildings are complete with windows, doors that open and awnings. Ethan came up with the names of buildings such as the White House (we had to make an American flag for it), Grammie's Grocery, Poppie's Televisions, Daddy's Dillards, and Jamie's Gym. The black is the road of course and then Ethan made a parking lot complete with painted lines to park the cars. They had fun with the cars for awhile and then the dinosaur came out to stomp the city and last night, the nerf gun shooter was on the loose and he was shooting the buildings down with his dart gun. The boys have been playing much more together. It's really cute. Drew will even play the predator and run after Ethan roaring like a monster! They giggle and laugh, run and play. It's really fun to watch. We went to Ethan's first parent-teacher conference yesterday. It was really neat to see what he was writing. We're really proud of him. It's so hard to believe he's in school and even more hard to believe that Drew is almost 2! We should probably quite referring to him as a baby!
